11-32 Cassette

Since I will be most of the time riding uphill next year and my semi compact with 11-28 is gonna torture me up gradient above 10%... Well ...to ease life a little bit.. here I have change into 11-32 with the Sunrace casette at rm190 which is slightly cheaper than 105. And with the adapter things is not going well.. and finally Kenny do away adapter link and lengthen the chain and viola!!

Let see how much pain I could endure!

Its been three weeks of riding!!

Its been three weeks of riding at Genting Sempah. Has been quite a ride with raining weather for the past three weeks when going downhill. Love every surreal bit of them!!

And finally the boardman frame was sold. Ah... so like this scheme and such a cool design.. but ess than one year. Its has some good ride though.. just somehow certain handling not that suit me..

Now next is to choose the color for new frame. I really like this fluorescent color. 

and also the belgian blue of the factor bike. so to keep it classical and at last the belgian color win!

after much struggle... the 306C PANTONE is the choice.. something not too bright and not too dark.. I would prefer something light bright but concern the color might be too light.

In search of a new bicycle frame

Though the high profile has done some justice to dampen the vibration. It is still niggle here and there a bit. I really love this fluid platinum frame though.. Perhaps it is the Boardman SLS that is so comfy to ride that I just cant forget it. Nevetheless, most secondhand is still at quite a high price. I was also in a dilemma to get a disc brake bike for next road bike. Anyway, aging has creep in and I just cant stand pothole and needle pin sharp road these day.

ahhh... then there was this idea of getting a titanium frame. Vannic have pretty beautiful bikes and this Boreas seems to fit bill. Through taobao its less than 7k for the frame. People often said so much about how comfy the titanium is and how it is good for long ride. So lotsa study had gone into the titanium for awhile and still in dilemma as I would like to have something in disc brake for final ultimatum for a metal based thingy.

And So it seems China Hanglun which do pretty high tech stuff for China aerospace also manufacture their own brand hi-light beside than for Vannic. Well.... price is almost half but cosmetically is more than half ugly. I thought to myself.. arrghh... u just new the comfort and practicality thats all. Almot 70% click on it but just mix feeling got it hold back..... 

and lo and behold... as I was searching in taobao.. then suddenly this open mold frame pop up in my mind.... the fm066. Its been around for a few years now and had quite a huge popularity!! Seems like open mold is getting stable and this one is kind a copy of Cervelo R3/5 2014 and somehow there is an offer going on for this frame and heck.. why dont I get this one and at least a temporary few years upgrade with decent budget.. and feedback is good and the frame is still enough and comfy... haha 

so begin to do somehow work and skype up sellers which is hongfu, dengfu and also tantan... 

and.... there is a new frame and price just top up a little bit more and its EPS!! Frame is really quite new and few people who posted online and not much info and feedback. I manage to get one European guy and one Thai guy. They equally sing praises about this frame.. I also sum yuk yuk lah... haha.. and the seatpost also new design ler .. why not get this EPS based which is better tech and much safer.. *finger cross... hahaha.. .and tantan Lisa seems to be quite responsive and good pricing. It add up a bit of confidence as well. so its been seal!!
